12minutes@350F. Parchment lined cookie sheet. About 60-80 one-inch cookies
Pre-blend dry ingredients
- 3 c. flour (I increased the flour because I like soft cookies)
- 2 t. baking soda
- 1 t. cinnamon
- ½ t. dried ginger
- ½ t. salt
Cream together
- ¾ c. soft butter
- ½ c. brown sugar
- ½ c. white sugar
Then mix in
- ¼ c. molasses
- 2 T. water (might try adding as molasses next time but the flavor balance is very nice.)
Then mix in dry ingredients
Put in refrigerator overnight. Then shape into one-inch
discs before baking.
